Peer is a Chrome extension built by UMET Labs and powered by SnapNotes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring responsible handling of any text you choose to analyze.
Peer only processes text you explicitly select for analysis. No other content from your device or browsing is accessed or collected.
We do not store any selected text, clinical content, or personal information. All data is transmitted securely, processed in real-time, and discarded immediately after analysis.
All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS protocols. The infrastructure supporting this extension is compliant with HIPAA best practices for handling sensitive information.
We maintain a signed BAA with our language model provider to ensure that any protected health information (PHI) processed through Peer is handled in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Peer does not use any user-submitted data to train AI models. Your text is used only to generate the response you see and is not saved, logged, or reused.
No advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics services are used in Peer. The extension operates solely to deliver on-screen text analysis as intended.
This extension is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18.
